Lions WR Nate Burleson was involved in a single car crash this morning in Farmington Hills, MI. According to police, Burleson was distracted after some pizza boxes fell from his front seat. Burleson broke his arm in two places as a result and will undergo surgery today.

The loss of Burleson is a big one for the Lions who was leading the team in receptions. He’s also a veteran presence in the locker room, mentoring other players. The Lions will undoubtedly look for a replacement but in the meantime, they’ll need more production out of second year pro Ryan Broyles.
