Heineken Kicks Off its 2012 US Open Sponsorship with Swanky NYC Party

Last night at the Dream Hotel Downtown in NYC, Heineken kicked off its 21st year of sponsorship of the US Open with a private event dedicated to mastering the art of The Serve.

Flying in all the way from The Netherlands was Franck Evers, Heineken draught expert and master pourer, who taught VIPs and attendees the art of the perfect serve: Begin with a clean Heineken glass, tilt, pour and create the head, side slice the head to seal the flavor, serve.

Joining Franck was Bob and Mike Bryan, Olympic gold medalists in Men’s Doubles Tennis, who came in rocking some Olympic bling, and went head to head in serving up the perfect Heineken. While it was impossible to tell who won, primarily because they're identical twins, they left many observers happy, allowing fans to take pictures with the Bryan Bros' recently acquired Gold medals.

US Open attendees are in for a treat this year as Heineken also announced it's Heineken Red Star Cafe. The Cafe will come equipped with plenty of Heineken, Heineken swag and chances to win great red star merchandise and prizes.
