Is this the greatest sports closed captioning fail of all-time?

While Conor Gillaspie is not a household name, he is having a fine season and he certainly should not be mocked or pissed upon. The 27-year-old Gillaspie is the starting third baseman for the Chicago White Sox and has had a surprisingly great season thus far with an impressive .330 batting average and 15 RBI’s in 28 games. Despite all of his outstanding play he received zero respect from the closed captioning during the White Sox game against the New York Yankees on Friday night.

Conor Gillaspie, everyone, number 12 in your program, number 1 in the guerrilla’s bathroom. Thankfully I’ve never had any encounters with a dangerous group of violent guerrillas or their urine, but I’ve seen some documentaries of third world militias and the soldiers always look sweaty and dehydrated as they march through rainforests, which I imagine would make their pee not very aromatic. I would also assume that no one, including Conor Gillaspie, wants to be referred to as “Guerrilla’s Pee,” even if it was a pleasant smelling liquid.
