Game of thrones: Brazilian soccer fan dies after being hit by flying toilet

There are crappy ways to die, and then there’s this. There has been a good deal of criticism and worries towards Brazil and their ability to host a safe World Cup, which is now just a month away. This latest awful situation in which a Brazilian man lost his life from a flying toilet is not going to calm anyone’s fears. On Friday night violence erupted when Santa Cruz fans clashed with visiting Parana supporters at Arruda stadium, which happens to be across town from a brand new World Cup venue. Savage fans ripped out entire toilet bowls from the stadium bathrooms and then hurled them at the fans below. The toilet killed Paulo Ricardo Gomes da Silva and injured three others. The police even knew that violence between the two fan bases was a good possibility and had each team’s fans leave the arena 15 minutes apart to hopefully keep them separated. I’m not sure what goes through someone’s head in a barbaric act like this. I don’t understand how you could be like, “You know that 50 pound porcelain toilet where I just took a watery caipirinha dump? Yea I’m going to remove it from from the ground, definitely spilling the nauseating contents on myself in the process. Then I’m going to lug it over to the edge of the stadium and launch it at unsuspecting people with intent to severely hurt them because they like a different group of individuals that kick a soccer ball than I do.”
