I'm new to the whole freeboarding craze, but this really seems like a fun enough time for an adrenaline junkie looking for a new fix. With the help of slightly larger boards and rotating axles, the activity combines skateboard with the same riding style as snowboarding. In fact, Freebording's whole tagline is "skate like a snowboarder." The hybrid isn't quite like mountain boarding because the wheels aren't monster-truck sized and its not quite longboarding because the rotating axles give the rider more control and turning power, especially at high downhill speeds. Allow the folks at CHoE (Crazy Hills of Europe) to demonstrate on the winding mountain roads of south of France. It looks like a really good time, people.
