The NAACP = an organization that focuses on equality of all people, regardless of race.
I can see why Fox News confused the two.
In fairness to Heather Childers, this was simply a slip of the tongue—-a hilariously inappropriate slip of the tongue, but a slip of the tongue all the same. She apologized on Twitter.
