Florida State Baseball Player Hits Double And Celebrates By Pretending To Shotgun A Beer

On Sunday, fourth-seeded Florida State (41-19) won their sixth ACC tournament title and their third since 2010. While some may argue that the highlight of the game was John Sansone hitting a three-run home run in the third inning to power the Seminoles to a 6-2 win over North Carolina State, but for my money this FSU player shotgunning a beer was worth the price of admission.

Seminoles sophomore first baseman Quincy Nieporte hit a double with two outs in the fifth inning. Was there a real need to celebrate a hit that didn’t score a run? Probably not. But that didn’t stop him from pretending to shotgun a beer on second base.

Nieporte did go 2-4 with an RBI. So go ahead big sexy, shotgun as many real beers as you’d like, your team is the ACC tournament champions.
