But perhaps some of Florida Gulf Coast's magic has worn off.

Last night, they came painfully close to pulling off one of the better buzzer-beaters in recent basketball history.

Down by two points to South Florida with .3 seconds remaining, the Eagles devised this tremendous full-court play for Chase Fieler. His shot appeared to be released in time, but was disallowed since NCAA rules prohibit this type of shot to be completed in such a short time frame.
