BEAST! Eddie Hall Sets New World Record For Deadlift By Beating Out The Mountain From ‘Game Of Thrones’

World’s Strongest Man athlete Eddie “The Beast” Hall has set a new world record by lifting more than a literal ton of weight on Saturday. Somehow Eddie managed to successfully lift 1,020 pounds in a dead lift.

He broke his own record for the deadlift that he set in March of this year when he hoisted 1018 pounds as he was being cheered on by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Last year, Eddie lifted a new world record at the World Deadlift Championships of 1016 pounds, but he was disqualified for dropping the bar and not following it down.

The scary thing is that Eddie didn’t not seem to be struggling with the 1020 pounds of weight. He was barely quivering and once he got the insane amount of weight up, he held it confidently for a good amount of time.

Hall beat out Hafthor Bjornsson, who plays Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane in HBO’s Game of Thrones, by over 28 pounds in the deadlift competition.

The Mountain was only able to lift 992 pounds. Fucking pussy.
