Donald Trump is a very rich man. And because very rich men no longer have to spend all their time figuring out how to reach astronomical earning-levels (read: thumb-twiddling rich), Trump can afford to put his time to better uses. 

Trump has a well-documented history of tweets that make you go “Hmmm … is this guy just bored as shit?” He praised the decision-making skills of “ugly” Arianna Huffington’s ex-husband, who “left her for a man.” He publicly propositioned Kim Kardashian … to vote for Mitt Romney. He makes bold contrarian proclamations, like Dennis Rodman’s cleaning up his act. Then he tweets madness like “credibility is important to me.” 

So today, in reaction to Saturday's fateful night in Bronx, Trump had a rather obvious explanation for why Derek Jeter went down with a now-infamous ankle injury:

It's almost as if while he's taking over the world, he's physically watching the haters gettin' mad. (They in awe.)
