Devon Still, a practice squad player for the Cincinnati Bengals, is one of the feel-good stories in what has been a feel-bad NFL season. The team is essentially keeping him employed so he can pay for his daughter’s cancer treatments.
Yesterday, Still posted this video of himself and his four-year-old daughter, Leah, on the way to the hospital, where she was to have surgery to remove a tumor from her abdomen.
It was pretty awesome.
Today we get word that the cancer was successful.
After a 5hr 50min surgery the surgeon was able to remove ALL of her tumor and all of her lymph nodes and her right adrenal gland where it all started from…best news I’ve received in a long time #PrayForLeah #GodIsGood #ThanksForYourSupport
