Cubs Fan Chooses A Home Run Ball Over His Beer And, Yeah, Bad Call, Bro

Catching a home run ball while at a baseball game is awesome and all, but, man, is it REALLY worth the $12 you probably spent on an ice cold beer? Not in my opinion.

Then again, I’m not this Cubbies fan, who had about three seconds to decide between being on live TV and jumping out of the way of a ball coming right at him—which would have definitely gotten the attention of his buddies watching at home—or sacrificing his brew.

He chose the souvenir—and he paid for it big time.

Hell, ol’ dude didn’t even end up with the baseball, either, so the entire decision backfired, leaving him with an empty beer cup, soaking wet and wreaking of booze and without the one thing he was hoping for, the ball.

Well, at least the Cubs won and are on their way to the NLCS for the first time since 2003, that has to make the fan happy as hell.
