Most of us wanted to be a professional athlete when were in fourth grade. Most of us thought that we’d realize this dream despite the long odds. Sadly, we’re not all Colin Kaepernick.

Here’s a letter the San Francisco 49ers quarterback wrote to himself when he was just a little guy with a dream. It’s oddly prescient.

There are a few spelling errors in there, though, so it’s probably only a matter of time before some idiotic columnist writes about how Kaepernick isn’t fit to run a team.
