Perhaps no one was more ready to play Game 3 of the Detroit Tigers-Oakland Athletics series than A’s centerfielder Coco Crisp. After his brutal error in Game 2 helped hand away a victory, you know he was chomping at the bit.
The hilarious-named Crisp wasted no time atoning for his mistake. He raced 77 feet to take away a would-be home run off the bat of Detroit’s Prince Fielder.
Just flat-out incredible timing right there.
It was the closest the Tigers would come to scoring, as the A’s prevailed, 2-0, to stave off elimination.
