Yesterday crazy Frenchman Alain Robert a.k.a. "The French Spiderman" spent six hours climbing Dubai’s 2716.5-foot-tall Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Robert has already scaled over 70 of the world's most iconic towers, including the Empire State Building, the Willis Tower in Chicago, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, and Taiwan's Taipei 101. Unlike many of his other climbs, Robert was asked to use a rope and harness for the trip up the Burj, saying, "I do understand. You know, this is such an iconic building so I can understand that even though they are taking care so much about my precious life, they are also taking care a lot of that precious Burj Khalifa." Now he has another notch on his belt. Here's a video of his ascent.
