cleveland-indians-triple-play

The Cleveland Indians turned a 7-2-4 triple play last night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. But those three numbers don’t really paint a picture of just how weird the play was in every way.

Thankfully, we live in an age of embedded video.

So, if you’re retroactively scoring at home: that’s three outs, two challenges and one big ball of confusion.

It is a little lame to have to sit through a review process before celebrating a rare trifecta. But don’t expect that to change until we finally get the robot umpires in place.
