Watch The USC Trojans Football Team Celebrate Like Mom Made Pizza Rolls After Finding Out Who Their New Head Coach Was

The USC Trojans football team has a tradition with some of the best in the nation, but, over the past few years, the perception of the program has taken a hit following NCAA sanctions, a rotating door of coaches and inconsistent play.

Following the team’s big-time win this past weekend over in-town rival UCLA, the school’s Athletic Director, Pat Haden, approached the team to make an even bigger announcement, officially giving the keys to the Ferrari to former interim head coach Clay Helton and making him the full-time boss.

The team exploded with excitement and applause, surrounding their new head coach and chanting his name while hopping up and down, showing that they’re fans of the move by the school’s administration.

Helton may be screaming at these guys to get ready for a huge Pac-12 Championship Game against Stanford over the next few days, but, at least for today, those same players were yelling in celebration of their new head coach—and it’s pretty cool to see.
