Chris Webber reveals the secret behind the Fab Five shorts

Chris Weber and the Fab Five played in back-to-back National Championship games in the early 90s. But it was their influence off the court, their swagger, their shoes, their baggy shorts, that made them the talk of college basketball. In this interview with Burger King, Chris Weber reveals the secret behind those baggy shorts. And well, you’ll never believe where the idea came from.

Jorts. I’m pretty sure Weber said jorts. I can’t believe jorts are responsible for the elimination of nut-huggers. Somewhere, probably in Spokane, John Stockton wipes a tear from his cheek.

But I digress.

Webber, a five-time NBA All-Star, has carved out a nice post-playing career. In addition to working with NBA TV, Webber has aspirations of one day managing a team of his own. Does Webber have what it takes to run a squad?

Those are the some of the questions we’ll be asking him this weekend in Dallas. If you have questions you want answered, pass them along on Twitter. Maybe, if you’re lucky, Chris will give you a shout-out.
