With some of the league’s top talent in Sochi, the NHL decided to take a break. But not every league around the world shut down action, much to the delight of puckheads.

The American Hockey League invited  Swedish Hockey League’s Färjestad BK to a skills competition to fill the void, and the event yielded a spectacular goal by Charles Bertrand.

See, kids, it pays off to play between your legs in public. Don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise.
