Any idiot knows the two most exciting sports in the Winter Olympics are hockey and curling. So it stands to reason that great things happen when the two are combined.

The Canadian hockey team showed up to watch their country’s curling match against Great Britain and goaltender Roberto Luongo took the opportunity to wear an awesome foam hat. Let that be a lesson to you: make the best of any chance to wear something ridiculous because a second chance may never arise.

Clearly inspired by the look, Jonathan Toews recreated the magic while attending today’s USA-Russia hockey game.

While our neighbors to the north may not sit atop the medal table at Games’ end, it’s safe to say they’ll be near the top of any best dressed list.
