Listen to Cal’s Baseball Announcer Go Wild Over a Walk-Off Bases Loaded Single

Anyone who's ever played ball on a Little League diamond dreams of being in the situation Cal's Devon Rodriguez was in last night against Baylor in the NCAA baseball regional: Bottom of the ninth. Two outs. Two strikes. Bases loaded. Trailing 8-7. On the 1-2 pitch, Rodriguez managed to snag a solid hit to right field, sending in two runs with a walk-off single. Via SF Gate:

"I say I believe it, because I was in the dugout and I saw it with my own eyes," Cal coach David Esquer said. "I told the guys that we could do this, but when it actually happened, I don't know that I actually believed it." Baylor opened up a 7-1 lead heading into the bottom of the sixth, but the Golden Bears cut it to 7-3 with two runs in the sixth, and Rodriguez's two-run homer made it 7-5 in the eighth.

Rodriguez's heroics were impressive. But so was the hysterical freak-out by  Cal’s announcer, Danny Fry. Hey! Give the guy a break; he called two games yesterday! Listen to the call and Fry's reaction below.
