The 2014 Masters ended in a less-than electrifying manner. Aside from Jordan Spieth and Bubba Watson going blow for blow on the front nine, the back nine of this year’s Masters was kind of a let down. THE BACK NINE ON SUNDAY is supposed to be where the Masters starts, but that never materialized. Hell, Bubba Watson, Jonas Blixt and Miguel Angel Jimenez were the only three players in the final four or five groups that were even under par for the fourth round and the rest of the players who made runs (Rory McIlroy, Stewart Cink) were too far back at the start of the day to even matter. With the exception of Bubba — and Spieth on the front nine — no one made any kind of memorable attempt to win. I don’t want to say they laid down and died, but they kind of just drifted away. And that made for zero drama.

There, I’ve said what’s been eating at me since the tournament ended yesterday.

Anyway, Bubba Watson slipped on his second green jacket (congrats to him and all that good shit) and then sometime around 1am he tweeted the below picture of his celebration dinner…at the Waffle House.

Never change, Bubba.
