Mega bro Bryce Harper and his spectacular hair appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The Nationals phenom spoke about his pregame ritual, which involves about 7 showers and some Eggo waffles.
Bryce Harper: During the day, I get to the field at 12 o’clock for a 7:05 game and it starts from there. You know, it’s uh, I swear I shower 7 times when I’m not on the field and I don’t even need to.
Jimmy Kimmel: Do you really?
Bryce Harper: Yea, it’s bad. As long as I’m on a streak or we’re doing good or my team’s winning, I’m gonna keep doing the same thing. Wearing the same undershirt, I eat Eggo waffles, it has to be Eggo. Right before the game. It’s really weird….I’m really superstitious.
The other part of the interview isn’t nearly as interesting, though, there is an obligatory shot of his first hit featuring the mooner behind home plate.
Bryce deserves props for uttering this line about the depantsing: “I guess the full moon comes out when things are going good.”
Yes, yes they do Bryce. Werewolves for example. Disregard that whole ripping out the heart thing and they’re quite cool. I even saw one dominate an entire basketball season. Even made a movie about it.
