Bruins’ Gregory Campbell killed a power play with a broken leg

Should the Bruins go on to win the Stanley Cup, this clip will lead every montage. While killing a second period power play, Gregory Campbell took a vicious Evgeni Malkin slap shot to the leg. The shot left him immobile, laying on the ice in pain. He fought to stand, even deflected a puck while limping around. After the Bruins cleared the zone, he awkwardly skated towards the bench.

He did all that on a broken leg. Yes, Gregory Campbell killed :50 of a power play on one leg. Truly amazing.

Campbell’s obviously out for the rest of the season so we reward him with a GIF of his courageous effort.
