We don’t know exactly what happened to ESPN reporter Britt McHenry to set her off like this but the on-camera tongue-lashing she delivers to the unseen person in this video is uncomfortable to watch.
The posting claims the object of her rage is a parking lot clerk. A parking lot clerk she clearly didn’t not appreciate. Or value as a human being.
We join with Britt McHenry already with a full head of steam. She delivers “don’t you who I am” body shots. She continues to pepper her opponent with personal attacks about the clerk’s education and looks despite being warned she’s being filmed.
Britt McHenry and her barrage continue despite a lack of response from her foe. Of course, there’s a chance the video was edited in a way to scrub an equally aggressive rebuttal from the clerk.
You can decide for yourself if that would make a difference.
All in all, a complete and utter takedown.
Enjoy your afternoon, ESPN PR people. It just got a lot more interesting.
UPDATE: ESPN has acknowledge the incident.
Via ESPN: “We are aware of a recent exchange between Britt McHenry and a towing company employee. We are now reviewing the matter with her.”
