Boy gets bit by rattlesnake; Little League moves games to ‘Snake Park’

A young boy was watching his brother play baseball at Blackhawk Fields in Danville, California. He was bit by a rattlesnake. The Little League responded by moving games to ‘Snake Park.’ I didn’t make that up. This isn’t a joke. This is amazing irony.

By the way, the boy received anti-venom and was released from the hospital. By all accounts, he’ll recover from the bite. But seriously, Snake Park you guys. With a freaking statue no less.

Here’s a local news report about the incident.

Tell me you heard it. Tell me you heard that reporter say, “right now there’s no word on why that snake bit the boy.” Um, what?

Does the snake need to provide probable cause now? I’m so confused.

Tangentially related: THEY OPEN DOORS NOW. THERE’S NOWHERE TO HIDE.
