Bowling Green's BooBoo Gates returned a kickoff for a touchdown to start the second half of last night's Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl.
While he was doing that, his teammate D.J. Lynch was tossing punches in the direction of Pitt's Manasseh Garner.
Both players were hit with personal foul penalties but the touchdown was allowed to stand.
Lynch was also allowed to stay in the game even though throwing a punch is an ejectable offense.
Clearly, it's hard for the referees to think about anything except pizza — just like the rest of us.
