I Can’t Stop Watching Blake Griffin’s No-Look 360 Block

When you watch Blake Griffin play basketball, the critical part of your brain wonders why the NBA allows a cyborg in the league. The less analytical part of the mind, however, just enjoys the outlandish high-flying antics.

Against the Boston Celtics yesterday, Griffin turned in one of the more spectacular blocks you’ll ever see–rotating 360 degrees in the air to swat Jonas Jerebko without looking.

I’ve never seen anything like it. And you haven’t either.

It must be wildly emasculating to get a shot erased by someone facing the other way.

Hope Jonas’ psyche is doing ok.
