I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not much of a hockey fan, as it’s the one sport that I don’t watch on the reg. I know, I’m a fucking moron. That doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the league’s Stadium Series—which complements the league’s Winter Classic played on New Year’s Day—pitting some of the best and most historic teams against one another in an outdoor setting.
This year’s outdoor games are real heaters, too, with the Chicago Blackhawks taking on the Minnesota Wild, Detroit Red Wings against the Colorado Avalanche and the Montreal Canadiens pitted against the Boston Bruins.
While the outdoor games are still over a month away from the puck being dropped, the teams are starting to release the sweaters they’ll be donning, with the Avalanche, Bruins and Canadiens unveiling theirs awhile ago and the Hawks and Wings following suit the past couple days—and I can’t get over how sick both of these are.

“”The Red Wings’ are rad and all, but the Blackhawks’ might be the best things I’ve seen in awhile, and they carry some interesting facts with them:

No word on what the Wild are wearing yet, but the other teams have set a pretty high bar to follow.
