Who’da thunk it? Well, obviously not the anyone in the executive offices for the NFL or Nike who orchestrated the new Color Rush uniforms, because colorblind people across the country had a downright terrible time trying to watching the Jets and Bills go at it on Thursday Night Football…if they even chose to tune-in to the field goal fest snoozer.
That’s because as many as 8 percent of men and 0.5 percent of women in America with Northern European ancestry have the common form of red-green color blindness, according to the National Institute of Health.
So, watching the Jets and Bills play TNF clad completely in red and green uniforms, respectively, looked like this to quite a few people last night.

And obviously, those bewildered with the NFL and Nike’s lack of oversight with the issue took to Twitter to share how difficult with was to keep up with the game that ended with the Bills winning 22-17.
For the 8% of American men like me that are Red-Green colorblind, this #JetsVsBills game is a nightmare to watch. No idea what's going on.

Sorry folks, being colorblind means a massive headache from TNF. No second half tweets from me.

Thanks @NFL for putting @nyjets in all green and @buffalobills in all red! Us color blind dudes can just guess whose blocking and tackling

If you are colorblind like me this @NFL game is going to be hard to follow. @buffalobills vs @nyjets

@NFL these jerseys are not a good idea for this game. As a color blind NFL fan, the struggle is more than real.

I am actually incapable of watching this game as a colorblind person. every player is on the same team as far as I know.

#BUFvsNYJ in black and white was a lot easier for us colorblind to see than tonight. https://t.co/XuqgHRgoNy
