Bill Belichick Was Mr. Personality Yucking It Up Over ‘DeflateGate’ On ‘Letterman’

Bill Belichick laughing his ass off? Where am I? What world is this?

Okay, calling Bill Belichick “Mr. Personality” make have been taking it too far, but when compared to his usual blank demeanor I think it still applies.

Then again, when noted Indianapolis Colts fan David Letterman brought up DeflateGate, you could still see signs of the no-nonsense “We’re on to Cincinnati” ball coach alllmost start to rear his ugly head.

“You could tell that it was nonsense, now where did it come from? Did it come from my Colts? Is that where it came from?” goaded Letterman.

“Dave, we’re just out there playing a game doing the best we can,” replied Belichick in close to full press conference mode. Awkward

Also during the interview, which I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Belichick even accepted it, Letterman asked him what he thought of Pete Carroll’s inexplicable decision to throw the ball on second and goal from the one-yard line. His response makes it looks like Bill Belichick might have a career in politics once his coaching days are over.
