Barack Obama’s Phone Call To Congratulate The USWNT On Their World Cup Victory Was Awesome

Shortly after their 5-2 trouncing of Japan to secure a 2015 World Cup victory, the United States Women’s National Team received a congratulations call from from none other that the President of the United States, Barrack Obama.

Barry O. praised the ladies’ play, and addressed team members individually with some laughable comments on their tremendous play and can-do spirit during the tournament held across the border.

Here’s the POTUS’ phone call with the USWNT in its entirety.

Barack Obama couldn’t have put it any better than chiding Carli Lloyd about that hat-trick hero’s diet of late. Congratulations again, ladies of the USWNT. See you in NYC for the ticker tape parade on Friday.

Cue the U-S-A chants!
