The President took time out from leading the free world to place a congratulatory phone call to American soccer stars Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard.
Hey, you know what? I agreed with a lot of things Barry said there. I even got a little movement deep in my feels region.
A few days removed from the loss, though, it’s hard not to feel even worse for Howard. The guy couldn’t have done anything more to help us win. He deserved much better.
