Today we all become Zack Golditch fans.
The Aurora, Colo. offensive lineman is off to Colorado State to play his college ball – a prospect that seemed highly unlikely after he was shot in the neck during last summer’s mass shooting.
"I could've been paralyzed or died, he said."
Centimeters made the difference and amazingly Zack didn't miss a game his senior season, barely missed a work out.
"I might have not been able to play football again, but now that's it's passed and I am able to I don't really think about it. I'm grateful for it and everything coming together, it's awesome and it's truly incredible." said Golditch.
He doesn't think about it much, and it hasn't changed him all that much either.
That's because he was already one of the hardest working guys his coach had ever seen.
Remember this the next time you bitch about something stupid. Giving up is for babies.
