What does a whole bunch of Esctasy pills, a set of $3,000 golf clubs, a NFL kicker, and some Chinese food have in common? If you said the plot for "The Hangover 3," you would be incorrect.
Atlanta Falcons kicker Matt Bryant just wanted some Chinese food delivered to his house, but his fine cuisine had quite the hefty price tag, like a $3,000 price tag. Bryant had his expensive golf clubs stolen by his Chinese delivery guy, who walked right into his garage and heisted the clubs. Luckily food delivery guys aren't the brightest because police were able to hunt down 22-year-old Kristian Vail. Police utilized the serial numbers on the clubs and were able to track them down most of them on the internet. Unfortunately there are still three clubs missing including a Scotty Cameron putter, which Braselton Police Assistant Chief Lou Solis said, "Matt Bryant wasn't too happy about that." Vail was was arrested on Sept. 22, faces felony burglary charges.
Investigators discovered that Vail had traded the clubs and golf bag to Michael Gibson, 22, for 80 Ecstasy pills. I had my suspicions that Vail was a drug user and not an avid golfer who just wanted to try out Bryant's fancy new clubs.
Poor Matt Bryant is merely a NFL kicker, he can't afford to have his $3,000 golf clubs stolen, plus he's doing his part to help the Falcons win because he's 4-4 in field goal attempts, including a 48-yarder.
