Oh man, poor Don Baylor. The hitting coach was sent to catch a ceremonial first pitch from Vladimir Guerrero. While in a squat position, Baylor’s leg gave out and UGH. If you’re queasy and don’t want to see an old guy’s leg look funny, turn away.
Which of course led to this announcement from the Angels because we can’t have nice things.
INJURY UPDATE – Don Baylor sustained a fractured right femur. The Halos batting coach will have surgery tomorrow.
