Jones plans to play his baseball in Japan next season, but he’s not leaving the States quietly.
Former Yankees outfielder Andruw Jones has been freed on bond following an arrest on a battery charge, according to jail records.
The former star Atlanta Braves player was arrested in suburban Atlanta early Tuesday.
Around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a call for a domestic dispute between Jones and his wife in Duluth.
Gwinnett County Detention Center records say Jones was booked into the jail around 3:45 a.m. and had been released on $2,400 bond by 11 a.m.
