India’s Professional Wheelchair Bodybuilder Is So Motivating I Just Threw A Basketball Into The Sun

Anand Arnold was paralyzed from spinal cancer at the ripe age of just fifteen years old, only two years after he’d discovered his love of bodybuilding. After losing the use of his lower half Anand was not content to give up his beloved hobby of crushing the weight room. So instead of thinking about the crappy hand he’d been dealt in life Mr. Arnold took to the gym in his wheelchair, and became one of India’s most famous bodybuilders.

And though he’s quite jacked in this video, it wasn’t an easy path back to bodybuilding for Anand. After his spinal operation he was bed ridden for years, and was effectively paralyzed down to the use of his hands. But Anand worked his ass off to get to the point he’s at in life: one of the most renowned bodybuilders in India.

My biggest question is this: where’s he getting his animal protein from? In order to bulk up to Anand’s size he’s surely had to put down some serious animal protein over the years, and with beef being illegal in certain parts of India, that might’ve been kind of a pain in the ass for him to keep up with. He didn’t get to be 3x Mr. India and 11x Mr. Punjab from eating leafy greens, so I want to know more about his diet.

Here’s some vintage footage of Anand Arnold in the gym (and you can check out Mr. India’s Facebook page HERE):
