This has to be one of the dumber ways for an NBA player to get ejected.

Toronto Raptors forward Amir Johnson just had to get an extra touch of the ball in between free throw attempts last night in Portland. He tried to wrestle the pill away from referee David Jones, awkwardly wrestled with the 58-year-old, and was tossed. The oddness didn’t end there, though, as Johnson chucked his mouthpiece at the referee, hitting him in the back.

That will probably cost him a couple of zeroes out of his next paycheck.
