Undefeated MMA Fighter Alexa Grasso Is A Total Knockout Inside And Out Of The Cage

Have you heard of Alexa Grasso before? Probably not, but she might just be the next big thing in women’s MMA. Why do I say that? Because she’s 6-0 with four knockouts in the first round since she started competing with Invicta FC.

And while we may never get to see the 21 year-old go hold-to-hold with Ronda Rousey, at 5-foot-5 and 115 pounds Alexa Grasso currently competes in the strawweight division, girl still packs some serious knockout power.

Oh yeah, Grasso is also going to college in Mexico, where she lives, studying morphology. That’s science, people. She’s a badass with brains.

Alexa says her inspiration for getting into MMA was set after she went to her first bout with her uncle.

“I was amazed to see that such beautiful and strong women could punch and kick that way against a larger rival. I saw the beauty of the sport and that women are just as capable as men to fight,” reports The Daily Mail.

Of course her dad thinks it’s pretty cool that Alexa is kicking ass and taking names, despite her mother worrying a bit, “My dad is always the happiest, he loves the idea of me being a fighter, and supports me with even the simplest things from helping with my uniform to drying my tears and saying beautiful words when I’m in the last weeks of preparation.”

Here’s to hoping that maybe, just maybe, some day Alexa Grasso can make the jump from Invicta FC to the UFC. If for no other reason than so we can get to watch her fight on national television as an alternative to Ronda Rousey.
