Alex Rodriguez is on a magical football tour this fall, hitting up all the big games to meet his adoring and widespread fan base. This weekend, America’s favorite athlete was in attendance for Alabama’s destruction of Texas A&M before swinging down to Dallas for the Cowboys-Giants game.

As human beings, we’re happy Rodriguez escaped serious injury. As avid readers of the New York tabloids, however, we must admit we’re a little disappointed. The cross-sport incident would have been an all-hands-on-deck situation for the clever and deranged minds charged with coming up with the most pithy of one-liners.
