The Cubs faithful were out in full force on Thursday for Chicago's Opening Day against the Washington Nationals. Despite the beloved Cubbies losing to the promising young Nats, the fans at Wrigley had their beer which made the loss a little more manageable. That is, unless your beer exploded. Cubs third baseman fouled a ball behind the third-base dugout and it crash landed directly into a fan's cup of beer which caused a massive splash. Not sure how not one person didn't actually catch the ball, maybe the beer had something to do with that. But hopefully this is a lesson for the fans out there: use your baseball mitt to catch balls, not your $10 Budweiser.
