Adrian Peterson thinks your PED accusations are a compliment

Adrian Peterson thinks your PED accusations are a compliment, flattering really. Here’s his hilarious and honest response when asked about HGH use.

“Seriously. Especially with the amount of work I put in,” Peterson said. “Guys say that to me, or if I hear someone saying that — it makes me feel good.

“When you know you don’t do it, and someone’s saying you do, you’re like, ‘Wow. They think I’m on HGH? I’m doing that good? Well, hoo! Thank you, Jesus!’ It’s a compliment. I don’t get mad about it at all.”

There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Adrian Peterson tiptoes that line quite eloquently here. Peterson finished the 2012 season with 2,097 rushing yards, the second best total in NFL history. He did that despite coming off ACL surgery, a surgery that ends many NFL careers.

He didn’t need HGH, he didn’t need steroids, he didn’t need any kind of performance enhancing drugs.

Sure, Peterson possesses great genes, an ability to recover faster than most humans. But he worked hard, real hard. Perhaps others should do the same.
