Guy Made A $.50 Bet At Race Track And He Won How Much Money?!?!

Ever wish you could turn your last $.50 in a bucket of cash by doing something other than prostitution? Me too because turning tricks is getting TIR-ED!

This guy in New Jersey made a measly half-dollar bet at a racetrack and walked away a winner. His earnings — $471,000 for picking the winners of the first five races of the day at Saratoga. Because there was only one ticket with all five of these winners, the guy won the entire pooled payout.

Andy Serling, handicapper for the New York Racing Association (NYRA), which controls Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct racetracks, told ESPN.com that Saturday’s single payout was a rare occurrence.

Since the fall of 2013 — when NYRA tracks started offering the Pick Five — there has been at least one winner every race day. But Serling said there has been a single winner only a couple of times in nearly two years.

It’s not as improbable as getting hit by lightning and winning the lottery but it’s still rare.

I guess it’s back to the street corner, huh bros?
