107 Twitter accounts were made for LeBron James’ headband

Let me start by saying that Twitter is a great place, a wonderful social medium to share breaking news, photos, videos, GIFs and random thoughts. It’s also home to the parody account which, frankly, is the abyss of the internet, the black hole of comedy.

Last night LeBron James was stripped of his headband by Tim Duncan but continued to play. It was amusing in the “oh look, LeBron lost his headband and he’s got a shiny dome” sense. It wasn’t amusing enough to make a parody account. Hundreds of unfunny folks tried and failed miserably to provide humor to the masses. At last count there were 107. Most only have a handful of followers, others have grown into the thousands. None of them are funny. Not single one.

Here are just a few user names (complete list here).
