Coming on the heels of a storm that killed two in Oklahoma yesterday, a mile-wide tornado touched down 10 miles south of Oklahoma City today, directly hitting the suburb of Moore and causing an untold amount of damage. Homes have been leveled, and two schools and a movie theater were reportedly among the badly damaged buildings. One elementary school appears to have been directly hit. A KFOR reporter spoke to one man who pulled kids out of its rubble. Below is live streaming coverage from local news station News 9:

Batman: Arkham City is undoubtedly the greatest mainstream comic book video game ever made. Warner Brothers Interactive/Rocksteady Studios has finally dropped a sneak peek of the highly-anticipated follow up, Batman: Arkham Origins. The trailer is just as cinematic as fans of Arkham City would expect it. Batman vs. Deathstroke: WHO YA GOT?! 

From Action News 5 in Memphis, Tennessee comes this chilling video of the massive tornado rolling through Oklahoma, where the city of Moore, just outside of Oklahoma City, was hit by a mile-wide tornado on Monday afternoon.

Action Bronson does what he wants. That's the takeaway from his latest video, "Strictly 4 My Jeeps", a veritable testament to the saying "Different strokes for different folks". Featuring a hooker that looks like she outweighs even Action himself, as well as rap game *Insert any word/phrase/nonsensical sound here*, RiFF RAFF the vid features what appear to be the Albanian rapper's trifecta: hookers, weed, and cooking. And it's absolutely glorious.

Kap Slap has spent the past few years cornering some sort of collegiate/now postgrad EDM rage market, and he's at it again. This is the first in an extended bi-montly mix series, which Kap Slap says is "tailored specifically for your car, gym and parties." Sounds good to us. Some great samples in here, and you could really see this guy getting better and better with each release:  

I have a lot of opinons about Saturday Night Live. I don't think this is weird, because, well, everyone has a lot of opinions about Saturday Night Live. It's been a constant in my life since, like, middle school, when my parents were completely cool with me staying up late on a Saturday night, drinking Mt. Dew Orange and snacking on Bagel Bites while watching Will Farrell eat Cracklin Oat Flakes with Ecstasy (... Mom and Dad were usually asleep by then). Despite the moans and groans about the show's declining quality, it's still appointment television if I happen to be in front of a TV at 11:30 on a Saturday night. 

To be completely honest, I never understand when people complain about SNL sucking. Fuck these people. Any show is going to have consistancy issues over 38 seasons, especially one where the cast and writing staff is constantly moving on to different career opportunities. It's unfair for audiences to think SNL is a static, fully-evolved organism when it's always been a fluid comedic reflection of the time it happens to exist in. Plus, what would you, the haters, rather have its place at 11:30 on a Saturday night? A shitty, boring-ass Brian Williams news magazine? The Voice re-runs? Part of why I've become such a rabid defender and fanboy of SNL over the years isn't just nostalgia for some long, lost time of Bill Murray/Chevy Chase/Steve Martin/Dan Aykroyd/John Belushi comedy, but because I'd rather live in a world where sketch comedy with high profile celebrities exists than one where it doesn't. 

Plus, it's really not that bad, especially in the web era when you pick up your laptop and skip through the highlights while hungover on Sunday morning.

People who have time-traveled from 2009 say Mad Men, others point to Breaking Bad, idiots say Girls. Etc. But Nucky Thompson and co.? Save a Golden Globe Best Drama win its inaugural season, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone make the case that the show is on top.

But whatever, it's about college so you'll probably watch it.
