Just a few short days ago, I made it a point to
sing type the praises of Zedd, the German talent whose done a lot to legitimize EDM as an actual, impressively sophisticated music genre. Clearly, he listened.
Here is Zedd and Foxes performing their smash-hit "Clarity" on Letterman--it's Zedd's first appearance of this nature, and he and Foxes (whose voice is more golden than, umm, pretty much anyone else on the planet) dominate the clearly nerve-racking experience quite impressively. The six piece string section ain't a terrible touch, either.
There's a decent chance that this performance was inspired/made possible by this video (released a few weeks ago), which is pretty much impossible not to listen to at least more 50 times after the first play.
