Here's a hot new music video from L.A. rapper and rising hip-hop star Tate Tucker.
"Go It Alone," whose instrumentals and chorus are sampled from the Beck song of the same name, is the first track off Tucker's new EP, "WEST/RIDGE." The song showcases Tucker's versatility and strong lyrical command, while the video -- which is at times a funny take on living under the lazy Long Angeles sun -- also functions as more serious commentary, dealing with themes of figuring sh*t out in a world that doesn't always seem to want to.
Tucker is a rising junior at Georgetown University, where he first gained notoriety by freestlying for Lupe Fiasco, who had dropped by the "Sociology of Hip-Hop" class Tucker was taking at the time.
