All in all, one of those songs that will refuse to leave your headphones for the forseeable future.
Now's a good time to take your opinion of the Drake version, and not apply it to this whatsoever. While obviously a cover, Jon Bellion's version isn't so much an adjacent interpretation as it is a refrshingly original commentary. The words may scream YOLO, but Bellion's charismatic vocals maintain the voracious swagger of a story yearning to be told.
There's no doubting that the young Bellion, Long Island native and poetic mastermind, simply has that "it" factor. Would be VERY surprised if this kid doesn't move on from the occasional viral hit to the biggest of big leagues. Word on the street is that he's also got a pretty wicked crossover.
