You've seen the video countless times, and you probably know at least 35 people who have uploaded a shitty lipdub to YouTube in the past month. However, this is the first time I've actually heard Psy speak about the song, and it's one of the more revealing talks from a musician that you'll see. It turns out, Psy had kind of a tough run to this point—Korean music is exceptionally focused on looks, and he self-describes his appearance as below par. So he had to work his way to the top. Of course, creating the world's catchiest song didn't hurt.
